
Pastor Harlan is happily married to is wife Lorinda, for thirty one years in which they have been blessed with four children Kier, Harlan Jr., Lonita, Lawrence, and five grandchildren Ashlyn, Noah, Jasmine, Sean, and Cydney. He is a 72 graduate of Central High in Evansville, Indiana where he played Football, ran Track, and played in the School Orchestra. He attended University of Southern Indiana-Evansville, as an Elementary Education Major. After entering the ministry in 1997 Pastor Harlan left his business City Sports Inc. and CSX Railroad and went into full time ministry in 1999.

Valley MBC 1997-2003, Deacon (96-97)Trustee (94-97), Youth
Dir. and Sunday school Teacher (91-97); Assoc. Minister
at Memorial Baptist Church as their outreach minister and
then move to Youth Pastor 1999-2003. Developed youth radio
talk show Seekers of Our Savior (S.O.S.) and Keeping It
Real, along with establishing drug prevention programs
and youth conferences.
Called to Pastor Little Valley MBC
2003-2009. Developed Saturday Morning Christian Ed Classes
and established Church Radio Broadcast along with youth
radio show In The Zone. Also started annual food and clothing
give-away, Rev. Harlan is currently serving as the Senior
Pastor of G.A.P. Ministry in Evansville, IN. 
Rev. Lorinda is
the loving wife of Pastor Harlan for thirty one years and
the mother of four children they have been blessed to have
Harlan Jr., Lonita, Lawrence, Kier, and five grandchildren
Jasmine, Sean, Ashlyn, Noah, and Cydney. She is a 74 graduate
of Thornton High in Harvey, Illinois. Rev. Lorinda holds
a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree
in Elementary Supervision and Administration. She worked
in the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation for 15
years and for Joshua Academy Charter School 2 years as
the Director of Education, she is currently employed in
the Caver Community Organization as the Education Director.
An Associate Minister 2003-2006 at Little Valley MBC she was an assistant to the Pastor and at Memorial Baptist Church beginning in 2001 until 2003, she served as the Christian Education Director over 39 ministries where she provided training and teaching as designated by the Spiritual needs of the Church.
Rev. Lorinda is the Author of the
book “One Minute to Live By”, a daily inspirational
message to sooth the soul and also the host of its
radio broadcast of the same name. She along with
her husband host a Sunday evening Gospel Music Program,
Rev. Lorinda is an Ordained Minister and a powerful
speaker with creative insight to spread the Lord’s message,
she as been the keynote speaker at women’s conferences
and other functions throughout the county.  |
